Cell-based mapping

Adrian Paulsen, Kyrre M. Kalseth and Frederic Videm have finalised their pre-diploma study. They conceptualised a new type of GIGA-mapping we call Cell-based mapping. GIGA-mapping is a technique we use for dealing with large amounts of information. More will follow on that topic.

Systems thinkers win prices

In the Norwegian World Usability Day Design Competition for students three of five winners were systems oriented design projects. The occasion was celebrated the 12th November with a lecture evening, price ceremony and exhibition opening at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design.

Fourth from the left Anne Mette Bakke recieved first price for her project Strategic Circle to Clean Water. The other winners are Kamilla Leonhardtsen and Elisabeth Skjelten.

About 120 people attended the lectures, price celebration and opening of the exhibition in the AHO Gallery.

Systems Oriented Design is very well received as a means to produce relevant and advanced solution to very complex tasks.
